Bank holiday Monday-means fun, fun, fun!!! X

Mummy McC got up with McC 3 and McC 4, McC 1 came down shortly afterwards and McC 2 joined us too.  The children wanted to have brioche and croissants for breakfast and a mindee (Mummy McC's nephew) arrived too.  14 brioche and 9 croissants later = full children.

Mummy McC thought it would be a good idea to sort out the living room toy boxes - sometimes, when tidying up, the children will put cars in the people box and this is not how Mummy McC likes the toys to be!!!  All the children loved finding some of the missing toys at first, but after thirty or forty minutes the novelty had worn off.  Mummy McC finished the job whilst Daddy McC fixed a snack and a juice for all the children.  Two hours later and all was sorted - happy Mummy McC.

McC 2 and Mummy's nephew played with cars and McC 3 and McC 4 had a teddy bear's picnic - happy children, but for how long.  McC 1 began the gruelling task of clearing out his room - being nearly 13 means his room isn't always as it should be!!!

Mummy McC had a BRILLIANT idea - a BBQ, so sent McC 1 to buy a few things from the shop.  Daddy McC got the BBQ lit and away we went.  Super happy children, burgers and sausages and a movie on too.  Movie's at the dining table are becoming a habit!

Mummy McC cleared away the BBQ things and the children decided they wanted to watch the sequel to the first movie.  Snacks and movie time = happy children!

Mummy McC had the clever (or not so clever) idea of putting two beanbags in one - the beanbags had become limp (Mummy McC thinks that McC 1 has unzipped them in his room, white balls seen in there too)!  You'd think it would be simple to put one set of beans (white polystyrene balls) into another beanbag, but NO it is not!!!  The beans went everywhere, the bags slipped, the balls became static - OH MY, WHAT A MESS!!!

Mummy McC had some beans left over from filling the cube nearly to the top and McC 3 and McC 4 thought it looked like it was snowing, they decided that it could snow on their Peppa Pig figures.  McC 2 and Mummy McC's nephew decided to join the game too.  How long do you think four children can play with little polystyrene balls?  THREE HOURS!!!  Three hours of  games, three hours of giggles, three hours of snow, three hours happy children, three hours of FUN, FUN, FUN!!!  Daddy McC has cleared them away, broom and hoover, but Mummy McC has found a few stray white polystyrene balls around the place.  Will Mummy McC find any more white polystyrene balls tomorrow?

All the children coloured a beautiful card each for Nannan B's birthday (51 today) and Mummy McC e-mailed them to Nannan B.  Living in Germany means the children don't get to see Nannan for her birthday so they called her and sang to her down the phone.  McC 4 loved Nannan B mixing the names of the children up - total giggly time, happy children.

All the children went to bed ready for back to school tomorrow - snores all round must mean fun day's are good!!!  x

  1. I can imagine the laughter with the white balls... we had a similar experience with J's 2nd birthday... I made the big mistake of putting confetti in the piñata... the kids all had more fun with the confetti then the sweeties! Totally worth the mess.
